February 2007 - Celebrate Black History Month

Exhibit - People Who Stood Through the Storm - The exhibition will feature script, photographs and newspaper clippings from the local and national Civil Rights movement over the years but the highlight of the exhibition will be large scrolls with the names of local people of multiple ages, races, creeds and colors who stood through the storm.

March 2007 - Women's History Month

Exhibit - Celebration of Outstanding African American Women - This pictorial exhibit showcases the beauty and outstanding achievements of African American Women as a salute to Women's History Month.

 

April 2007 - Jazz History Month

Exhibit - "The World of Jazz" - As a whole this exhibit is a fascinating musical journey through pictures, video and documentation about Americas only true art form "Jazz".

May 2007 - Happy Anniversary Impressions

Exhibit - "100 + One" - this international traveling exhibition focuses on the music.  The exhibition is comprehensive and original covering everything from Negro Spirituals, Ragtime, Blues, Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop and even Techno.

Exhibit - "People Get Ready" - Did you know that three of the five original Impressions were from Chattanooga.  From Chattanooga to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this exhibit will celebrate the 50 year history of the Impressions through photographs, script, newspaper clippings and other memorabiia.
